Fun fact about Joey Logano: At the age of six Joey began his racing career where he started out driving quarter midgets in Connecticut, in 1997 he earned his first championship in the Junior Stock Division and now present day he is a three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion with thirty-six victories. 

Fun fact about Phoenix Raceway: Though the track opened in 1964 it did not host its first NASCAR race until November 6, 1988, where Alan Kulwicki won the inaugural event. For the next five years in a row, drivers who were inducted in the Hall of Fame walked away with the victory (Bill Elliott in 1989, Dale Earnhardt Sr in 1990, Davey Allison in 1991 and 1992, Mark Martin in 1993, and Terry Labonte in 1994).

Fun fact about Arizona: This state produces the most amount of copper out of all in the Union. The state's flag has a copper star, and it has thirteen red and yellow rays that alternate a pattern.
