Fun fact about Talladega Superspeedway: There is a tall tale called the Talladega Jinx and this originated when Native Americans lived on the land the track currently resides, they stated it a shaman cursed the area after they left the grounds even though some people disagree and say that it was an Indian burial ground.

Fun fact about Alabama: In 1836 this state was the first to declare Christmas as a holiday and the last state to do this was Oklahoma in 1907.
