FYI: The Dayton 500 has always been known as "The Great American Race" or the Superbowl of NASCAR and boy did it not disappoint. From almost fifteen lead changes, crashes, flips, overtime finish, and side-by-side racing, the 500 kept every fan on the edge of their seat not knowing who will walk away with the trophy until the checkered flag flew. It was Austin Cindric who won in his first start in the 500 where he held off Wallace and Briscoe by 0.091 seconds that left a thrilling finish for the fans.
